IzzyDrive — Truck Driver & Mechanic App (USA)
Backend of a mobile app connecting US truck drivers with roadside mechanics.
# about the project
IzzyDrive (CAMU Group) is a platform in the US logistics space connecting truck drivers with mechanics. When a truck breaks down on the road, the driver can request the nearest mechanic online.
Two separate mobile apps: one for drivers (IzzyDrive Client) and one for mechanics (IzzyDrive Mechanic). A driver creates a service request and sets their own price; nearby mechanics see it and respond.
I built the backend (Django + DRF): geolocation-based driver–mechanic matching, real-time requests and push notifications, an offer/pricing system, service history and payments — REST APIs for both mobile apps.
